How much does a repair cost?
Every repair starts with a $50 diagnostic. After the diagnostic you get an estimate for the repair and any parts before we do any work. Repairs use a flat labor charge of $150 per drone, no matter how complex the work is, plus the cost of parts (typically about $85). We can't give a firm quote in advance because we have to inspect the drone first.
What is the diagnostic fee?
The diagnostic is a $50 fee that is due up front and non-refundable. It is separate from the repair cost and is not credited toward it. It is required for every drone we take in. It covers finding out what is wrong, and afterwards you receive an estimate for any repairs or parts needed before we proceed with any work.
Do I have to approve the repair first?
Yes. After the diagnostic you receive an estimate for any necessary repairs and parts, and nothing is repaired until you agree to it.
How long does a repair take?
Estimated repair time is 2 to 3 weeks, depending on shipping and parts availability. Expedited service may be available for an extra fee, usually $50 to $100 depending on the job, so ask the team if you are on a deadline.
What should I bring or send with my drone?
Bring or send the drone and its radio controller, and make sure both are charged. You may be turned away if you arrive with dead batteries. Please submit your repair request first so we have your details.
Can you diagnose or quote over the phone?
Because of the high volume of calls and customers, we can't diagnose or quote a repair over the phone or in person. The drone has to come in for the diagnostic. Start with the repair request.
Where are you and what are your hours?
We are at 2655 W Guadalupe Rd, Suite 2B, Mesa, AZ 85202. Drop-off hours are Monday to Friday, 12 PM to 6 PM. We serve Mesa and the Phoenix valley, and we accept shipped drones from anywhere.
Can I mail or ship my drone to you?
Yes. Submit the repair request first, then pack the drone and controller securely and ship them to our shop address in Mesa, AZ. Please don't ship lithium batteries unless we have asked you to; contact us first if you are unsure.
What do you repair?
We specialize in DJI drones, from consumer models like the Mavic and Mini to enterprise models like the Matrice, and we also repair FPV drones. Common jobs include camera and gimbal repairs, broken arms, motor replacements, propellers and shells. If your model isn't listed, send a repair request and tell us what you have.
What if something goes wrong during the repair?
By using our repair services, you understand that we are not liable for damages that may occur during or after the repair process. If you have questions about this, the team can go over it with you before you commit.
